About the Gathering
The DAUGHTERS OF THE EARTH gathering is a journey back into the pulse of pre-patriarchal cultures, where the earth and the feminine divine were woven into every aspect of life. You are not simply an individual, but a living ecosystem—an organism deeply interdependent with the land, its rhythms, and its stories. This gathering is a reconnection to that truth, a return to our animal bodies, our earth-bound souls, and the matrilineal wisdom that runs through our veins.
The land and your body are not separate; they speak the same language. They whisper stories of collaboration, cycles of birth and decay, rest and regeneration. As we gather, we are reminded that as women, we are the earth. We are the fertile soil, the wild forests, the flowing rivers. To heal the earth is to heal ourselves, and this gathering invites you to step into that deep, reciprocal relationship with the natural world.
CONNECT
Find stillness and connection in your body, listening to the quiet wisdom that comes from slowing down, from turning inward. This is a space where you can remember the instincts that stir beneath the surface, where you can follow the whispers of your heart. Through ritual, storytelling, and somatic practices, we will awaken the memories that your body carries—ancestral wisdom rooted in reverence for the earth.
CREATE
With your hands in the soil and your body grounded to the earth, you will create alongside the elements. Earth, wood, seeds, and stone become our teachers and tools, as we shape art that mirrors the cyclical nature of life itself. In this childlike, joyful creation, you’ll rediscover the freedom to play, to express, to breathe life into your personal truths. Natural building techniques will weave your art into the physical world, grounding your vision into form.
TRANSFORM
Transformation is born from movement, from shadow work, and from release. Through Earthen Arts, Authentic Relating, Acroyoga, Rituals and Exploration of the Mythic and Voice Activation we’ll find ways to dissolve the emotional and energetic blocks that hold us back from living fully. This is where you reclaim your body’s sovereignty and open your capacity to communicate from your core truth. In this space of stillness and reflection, you will expand your ability to relate, to love, and to connect authentically with others.
EXPRESS
Dance with fire, explore mask play, and unleash the full spectrum of your voice and body. Acro yoga and contact dance will help you rediscover trust, space, and playfulness. You will be reminded of the woman within who stands firmly in her truth, whose rhythm and voice are her own. Through these embodied practices, you will find the confidence to live and express from the deepest part of your being.
In this 8-day experience, we remember that women are the earth. We root ourselves into the soil, we are nourished by the wild, and we rise with the creative force that pulses through all living things. This gathering blends ritual, earthen art, somatic practices, and natural building into a seamless, sacred experience where the body and earth become one. It is a return to the ancient rhythms, a rebalancing of our electromagnetic field, a journey of remembering.
Our mainstream culture would have you believe that you must wait for the right moment, the right circumstances to express your truth—but here, we recognize that the power to create, to transform, and to birth new visions lies within. We call upon the wild muse within each of us, transmuting old patterns of self-silencing, invisibility, and powerlessness into a force of love and creation.
We are no longer waiting. We are the action, the permission, the alchemists of ancestral wounds, turning them into a brighter future. This is a space where we ignite our Eros, unleash our artistic spirit, and deepen our connection with the earth and each other.
Come, move, create, and be moved as we celebrate the wisdom of the earth and the untamed spirit within each of us.

Rebecca Gilling
Earth building / Natural plaster & Earthen art / Women's empowerment in construction / Creation as Prayer
Becky is a craftswoman and artist dedicated to celebrating the harmony between nature and creativity. Her passion for working with natural materials shines through her sculptural and decorative plasterwork, where she weaves clay and lime into beautiful, soulful expressions. Her field of work ranges from creating artisanal wall finishes in homes and conserving historic buildings to sculptures and furniture.
Becky’s most celebrated work includes the large-scale sculptures she crafted for Medicine Festival, where her and her team wove prayers and mud into giant earthen beings. Her journey has taken her across the globe, learning diverse building traditions from English and Japanese plasterwork to Moroccan and Italian styles. This rich tapestry of experiences fuels her passion for empowering women in the arts and building.
After completing the Prince’s Foundation’s Building Craft Programme, Becky deepened her craft with master artisans across the UK and further afield in Costa Rica. Currently a nomadic mud gypsy, she continues to explore and share her love for earth, while nurturing a deeper connection with the land, ancient building techniques and community. She enjoys singing and playing medicine songs on guitar, practicing and teaching yoga and feels most alive when hiking in mountains and swimming in rivers. Her aim when facilitating is to integrate her work with medicine, embodiment practices and community living into her teaching of practical hands-on skills like natural building, sculpture and plastering.
